Hazelwell Station: mrhaz521b
This close up of image 'mrhaz521' shows a number of
interesting details not seen in other photographs. The chimneys are not capped
with chimney pots but with a form of cowling designed to prevent smoke from
being blown back down. A siding appears to be evident just past the down
platform at the Birmingham end of the station. There is very little furniture
or other items on the platform other than a milk urn under the station
sign.
