This close up of image 'mrhaz521' shows how even after decades of use the station was remarkably clean. The up platform is free of the normal clutter found on many other lines with just one bench seat in evidence behind the boy. The ramp which provided access to the station from Cartland Road bridge can be seen on the left the bottom of which appears to be very close to the building.
