LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

This view taken from under the up platform's station canopy is looking to the south and on to Kings Norton. Although disused for nine years the station is virtually complete with the exception of basic platform furniture and posters etc. The layout of the station with access being provided by the two ramps from Cartland Road is well illustrated by this photograph. Note the glass in the canopies which was removed within a few years. 26th March 1950
