LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Nuneaton

Forge Mills Station: mraf361

Set in a very rural location the station provided services to a fairly thin population. The station sign was to the standard MR angled specification. The station masters house is at the far end of the platform with the booking of fice and passengers facilities adjacent, nearer the camera. There wasn't a footbridge at Forge Mills passengers crossed by the barrow crossing seen on the bottom left of the photograph.
