View looking towards Whitacre with the station on the right prior to the level crossing and the goods siding on the left past the level crossing gates. As can be seen there are two signals either side of the crossing controlling traffic in either direction. As the original railway was double tracked the width of the cutting allows the single line to be located in the centre of the formation except where structures such as the platform required otherwise. 24th September 1920
