Ex-MR 4-4-0 2P MR class '483' No 531 entering station with an express train from Birmingham comprising clerestory stock. Number 531, wearing a number 2 shed plate in this photograph, was built in October 1898 at Derby works and withdrawn from Walsall (Ryecroft) shed in September 1956. Note the Private Owner coal wagons in the background. 3rd June 1925
