LMS 4-4-0 Compound No 1079 on a Derby to Birmingham express. Number 1079 was just eight months old at the time of photograph being built in November 1924 at Derby works. In BR days it carried the running number 41079 and was withdrawn from Nottingham (Midland) shed in November 1956. 3rd June 1925
