This close up of image "mrbr147" provides the viewer with some idea of the platform structure, the platform furniture and the platform it self. The building did not need to be too large being used for two waiting rooms and the toilets. The platform's surface is made up of timbers laid lengthways the wood being seasoned (dried) for at least a year if not considerably longer. The edge of each plank would have been square cut not tongue and grooved which would have prevented rainwater from escaping between each plank.
