Broom Junction Station: mrbj156

A panoramic view of Broom Junction station looking towards Redditch on a quiet day with no passengers visible and just a few wagons in the goods yard sidings. Access for station staff to and from the goods yard was via the barrow crossing seen in the foreground. The signals appear to be the same as seen in earlier photographs but with a fresh coat of paint indicating that the photograph was taken just after the station had its two signal boxes replaced by a new signal box (see image 'mrbj539') which was located behind the photographer opposite the turntable.
