An ex-MR 0-6-4T "Flatiron", No 2027 is seen at the head of a
Birmingham New Street to Ashchurch train (via Redditch). The nickname
"Flatiron" was given due to the locomotive because the side tanks were thought
to look like an old fashioned iron. Number 2027 was built at Derby works in
June 1907 and lasted in service until withdrawn in March 1936 from Saltley shed
to be scrapped very shortly afterwards. C1933
