This close up of image 'mrbg619' shows the junction layout and sidings in the goods yard. Bob Essery states 'the pointwork is worth more than a passing glance; note how the connection from the up main line to the up goods line is separate from the connection from the Evesham branch to the up goods line. There is also a trailing crossover from the up to the down main line' but Bob doubts if this saw much use. When comparing the location of the signalbox on the left with earlier views (see image 'mrbg618a') the replacement signalbox appears to have been built immediately to the left of the old signalbox. This presumably was because the old signalbox fouled the new up goods line yet its overall location was ideal for overseeing the junction and goods yard. C1949
