LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

LMS Fowler Class 3P 2-6-2T No 16 is running bunker first on a Redditch to Birmingham New Street train. Bob Essery states that 'the three-coach set is almost certainly made up of a brake third, composite and brake third. Number 16 was built at Derby works in March 1930 and lasted in service until withdrawn from Carnforth shed in July 1961 although it was stored at Rugby in October 1958 before being scrapped by the Central Wagon Co of Barrow in October 1961.
