LMS 3MT 2-6-2T No 178 stands with a clutch of 4-4-0s, Nos 1064, 439 and 1039, together with 0-6-0s, Nos 22863 and 3583 during one Sunday in August 1947

Whilst the walls and roof inside the shed are clearly dirtier than earlier photographs the shed is still impressively light. The turntable has lost the timber flooring which once covered the whole of the pit.
