Bournville had a deserved reputation for possessing elderly Midland locomotives however in this photograph the locomotives stored on the two long sidings to the west of the shed are an interesting collection of LNWR locomotives. Ex-LNWR 4-6-0 goods locomotives Nos 8723, 8786, 8820, 8832, 8841, 8842 and 8869 stand on shed on Sunday 17th March 1935.
