A Midland Railway sign on an overbridge half a mile south of Alvechurch station warning the owners of steam tractors that they would be liable to any damage. Most road and possession bridges erected by the Victorians were built to carry horse drawn traffic not the later mechanical devices. Its a credit to them that most bridges still in use today are being used for 21st century traffic.
