LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Looking along the station with the siding's buffer stops to the left and the ground frame structure to the right. Just visible on the left and under the buffer stop is the gradient post which indicated that the station lay on a falling gradient of 1 in 74. To the left of this on the extreme edge of the photograph can be seen a coal merchants hut displaying the name 'A Foster'. The corrugated hut housing the ground frame was of a type normally associated with toilet facilities although on this line was more frequently seen pressed in to use housing ground frames.
