This close up of image 'mra470' shows the coal stacking area to the extreme right operated by Shrimptons whilst the hut and area beyond and under the trees was occupied by Butlers. The yard could accommodate 40 vehicles in total and was able to deal with a variety of traffic including furniture, livestock, horseboxes, and carriages. The yard crane was equipped to handle loads of up to 1 ton 10 cwt. The Alcester Co-operative Society operated from the yard with wagons painted medium grey with white-shaded black lettering.
