LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham

Alcester Station: mra135

Looking towards Evesham with the station still neat and tidy but lacking the platform furniture and greenery as seen in the Edwardian views. The loose rails in the 'six foot' (between the sets of rails) and the cleaner ballast under the nearest set of rails would indicate that the trackwork was being replaced.
