LMS Route: Evesham to Birmingham
Lifford: mr_lif494
Facing Camp Hill and Birmingham with the goods yard to the
left behind the station. At the far end of the station can be seen the girders
of the under road bridge at Lifford Lane. The main station buildings are on the
right hand platform are obviously grander compared to the buildings opposite.
Lighting appears to be via gas which might reflect the fact that the station
was built in 1885 when gas was being introduced whereever practical by all
railway companies. 1 July 1930
