LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Lichfield

Again this late 1970s photograph, one of two, has been included in the absence of earlier photographs. BR built but to an LMS design Ivatt 3MT 2-6-2T No 41320 is seen arriving on a two-coach local passenger train from Four Oaks. Number 41320 was built at Derby in January 1952 and only lasted in service until July 1967 when it was withdrawn from Bournemouth shed to be scrapped by G Cohen of Morriston, in November the same year. Number 41320 had the distinction of being the last Push-Pull fitted member of its class in service. July 1955
