Ex-LMS 4-6-0 Jubilee No 45647 'Sturdee' passes through the station on a down express to Wolverhampton. Number 45647 was built at Crewe works in January 1935 and remained in service for 32 years before being withdrawn from Holbeck (Leeds) shed in April 1967 to be scrapped by J Cashmore of Great Bridge in September 1967.
