Looking towards Kenilworth as a Nuneaton to Leamington motor train passes the site of the original 1844 station in July 1951. The station has been substantially refurbished since the earlier view and as it appears to have been painted in British Railways's corporate colours of Maroon and Cream this must have been completed post 1948 when the railways were nationalised. In the distance on the left are the sidings adjacent to the goods yard and access to the shed. The platform buildings on the up platform on the right accommodated from left to right, Porters Office, Waiting Room and Ladies Waiting Room with the en-suite toilet being nearest to the camera. On the right is the station sign which displays the name as being Warwick (Milverton) which the station bore from 1884 to 1952. On the face of the up platform, in front of the building, two steps can be seen which enabled the porters to cross the line without having to use the steps to Warwick New Road at the end of the platform.
