Warwick (Milverton) Station: lnwrwar_stn1405
Looking towards Kenilworth and on to Coventry. The main
station building located at road level was just below where the photographer
was standing. To access the down platform (left) passengers used a covered
staircase the top of which can be seen on the left adjacent to the mile post
(15).
The old station buildings are shown in a diagram in 'LMS
Stations' by Preston Hendry and Powell Hendry to have been located at the end
of the up platform on the right adjacent to a siding where the horse and
carriage dock was located. The diagram states the old buildings were in
Departmental use.
