LMS stations and trains

Ex-LNWR 0-8-0 'G2a' 7F No 49266, BR built, but to an LMS Ivatt design, 2-6-2T 2MT No 41321, ex-LMS 2-6-2T 3MT 40076 and ex-LMS 2-8-0 8F 48343 are seen in steam towards the end of the shed's life. C1957

Number 49266 was built at Crewe in June 1916 and was withdrawn from Rugby shed in November 1959 where it stood in the dump line until towed away to Crewe Works to be cut up in May 1960. Number 41321 was built at Derby Works in February 1952 and had a very short life being withdrawn from Exmouth Junction in July 1965 and scrapped by G Cohen, of Morriston, shortly afterwards. Number 40076 was, as stated before, built at Crewe in March 1935 and withdrawn from Bangor shed in October 1961. Number 48343 was built at Horwich works and withdrawn from Stoke-on-Trent shed in February 1967 and scrapped by J Cashmore, of Great Bridge, in May 1967.
