Built by BR to a standard ex-LMS design by Ivatt No 41231, a 2-6-2T 3MT class locomotive, is seen with a four coach local passenger train approaching Long Itchington. C1956

Number 41231 was built at Crewe works in August 1949 but only survived in service for less than 15 years before it was withdrawn from Leamington (ex-GWR) shed in May 1964 before being scrapped in August the same year at J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
