Ex-LMS Stanier 3MT 2-6-2T No 40076 is seen on a four coach local passenger train approaching the station. C1956

Number 40076 was built at Crewe in March 1935 and had already been in service 21 years prior to the photograph being taken. However it only lasted in service another 5 years being withdrawn from Bangor shed in October 1961.
