Ex-LNWR 1P 2-4-2T Precursor Tank class No 6749 stands alongside ex-LNWR 0-8-0 No 9261 and others in front of No 1 shed on 24th May 1936. Built at Crewe works in May 1897 it remained in service until withdrawn as British Railways No 46749 in February 1952 from Rugby's sub-shed Warwick and was scrapped shortly afterwards at Crewe works.
