LMS 7F 0-8-0 Class G1 nicknamed 'Super D' No 9166 is seen standing in front of No 1 shed over the inspection pits. Number 9166 was built as LNWR No 1655 at Crewe works in May 1910 and remained in service until March 1949 when it was withdrawn from Bushbury shed circa 1949 for scrapping at Crewe works.
