Ex-LNWR 2F 0-6-0 Cauliflower No 8575 stands in line with others outside No 1 shed ready for its next turn of duty circa 1931. Number 8575 was built at Crewe works in January 1901 and remained in service until September 1949 when it was withdrawn from Penrith shed circa 1949 for scrapping at Crewe works.
