View of Rugby No Signal Box which was located between the London end of the station and the GC bridge. The high elevation was required to assist the signalmen to see the full aspect of the area that they covered. The absence of steps on the outside indicates that access must have been via an internal staircase. The coaling tower can be seen behind the steam on a cold winter's day with snow still lying on the ground.
