Steve Weston writes "I think the bridge in the distance is Clifton Road Bridge (Bridge 275) as this slopes down from West to East. The higher lines will be on the down side. I think it’s been taken from on the ‘Birdcage’ looking south. The lines read, from left to right, up slow, up fast, siding, two lines on embankment to Northampton, down fast (in the ‘Rat Hole’ but without the ‘modern’ retaining wall) and down goods on the embankment.
