LNWR 3P 4-4-0 George V class No 1730 'Snipe' heads an up Wolverhampton to Euston express. Number 1730 was built at Crewe works in October 1911 and was given the LMS No 5376 in July 1927. Renumbered in the duplicate list as No 25376 it was eventually withdrawn in December 1947 from Chester shed. C1919-22
