LNWR 4-6-0 Claughton class No 1407 'Lance Corporal Crisher VC' is seen leaving Rugby station with a Slip Tri-Composite coach immediately behind the full brake. Built at Crewe in February 1920 it was renumbered by the LMS in February 1927 as No 5967 and withdrawn from service in 1934.
