LMS 4-6-0 Royal Scot class No 6108 'Seaforth Highlander' in original condition with the Up Royal Scot train on 23rd June 1928. Number 6108 was yet another North British Locomotive built to order 23603 in September 1927 and lasted until January 1963 when it was withdrawn from service from Carlisle Upperby shed for scrapping at Crewe Works in May 1963.
