Rugby Station - LMS Period Locomotives: lnwrrm766

LMS 4-6-0 Jubilee class No 5597 'Barbados' stands light engine on the down avoiding line which ran through the train shed. Number 5597 was built by the North British Locomotive works in January 1935 and remained in service for thirty years being withdrawn in January 1965 from Holbeck shed for scrapping by Drapers Ltd of Hull in April 1965.
