Rugby Station - LMS Period Locomotives: lnwrrm765

Ex-LNWR 4P 4-6-0 Prince of Wales class No 5658 'Atlas' on a down semi-fast express circa 1930. Number 5658 was originally built as LNWR No 2417 in January 1916 until January 1927 when it received its LMS running number. Renumbered into the 20000 series as 25658 to make way for the Jubilee numbering it was withdrawn from service in October 1935 for scrapping at Crewe works.
