Ex-LMS 4-6-0 Black 5 No 45448 stands in line fully coaled and watered ready for service along with others in front of the shed. Built as LMS No 5448 by Armstrong Whitworth in December 1937 No 45448 remained in service until August 1967 when it was withdrawn from 9F Heaton shed.
