Ex-LMS 2-6-4T Fowler tank No 42361 stands in the Stafford bay on down local. Number 42361 was built at Derby works to Lot 53 in July 1929 and remained in service until February 1964 until withdrawn from Gorton shed to be scrapped at Horwich Works in March 1964.
