View of horse drawn cab rank and the main entrance to Rugby's third station seen on 3rd July 1906. The second station was erected at the far end of the station, opposite the end of Railway Terrace. The nearest horse-drawn vehicle is a 'Hansom Cab' which had two wheels with the driver seated behind the cabin and was a faster way of travelling for up to a maximum of two people. The other three vehicles appear to be a 'Clarence or Growler', which was a more conventional four-wheel carriage as the driver sat in front of the cabin. The Clarence or Growler could accommodate more than two people and had a strengthened roof with rails to carry passenger's luggage.
