Ex-LMS 4-6-0 Jubilee class No 45644 'Howe' is seen at Hillmorton on 12 noon Manchester to Euston express on 26th May 1958. The Northampton lines are seen to the right of the locomotive with Hillmorton signal box in the distance. Number 45644 was built at Crewe works to Lot 205 in December 1934 and remained in service until it was withdrawn in November 1963 from Crewe (South) shed to be scrapped in January 1964 by Crewe works.
