Ex-LNWR 4P 4-6-0 Prince of Wales class No 25979 was never named and is seen standing below the coaling plant on 27th August 1938. Number 25797 was built by Beardmore & Company to Lot 215 in November 1921 and remained in service until June 1947 when it was withdrawn from Nuneaton shed to be scrapped at Crewe works.
