LNWR 4-6-0 Prince of Wales class No 1584 'Scotia' seen
wearing LNWR livery yet carrying its name plate fixed after grouping. It was
named in the very first month of the formation of the LMS, January 1923, so any
model commissioned to be in the above condition, named and in LNWR livery,
would only be accurate for the modeler of the early LMS period. When finally
numbered by the LMS it received the LMS No 5704 later changed to No 25704 when
it was placed on the duplicate list prior to being withdrawn in September
1936.
