Ex-LNWR 3P Precursor class 4-4-0 No 5312 'Velocipede' stands cold on shed but ready for Monday's next trip. Built as LNWR No 2584 at Crewe works in January 1906 it received its LMS running number in August 1927 whilst its name 'Velocipede' was removed in August 1933 some two years prior to its withdrawal in December 1935 for scrapping at Crewe works.
