Ex-LNWR 3P Precursor class 4-4-0 No 25187 'Helvellyn' stands outside No 1 shed on the inspection pit roads circa 1935. Built as LNWR No 2023 at Crewe works in April 1904 it received its LMS running number in June 1926 and remained in service until March 1936 when it was withdrawn from Rugby shed for scrapping at Crewe works.
