Ex-LNWR 2P 4-4-2T Precursor tank No 6819 stands cold but with its fire ready to be lit for its next turn of duty circa 1935. Number 6819 was built by Crewe works in September 1907 and remained in service for thirty years being withdrawn in February 1937 from Crewe North shed for scrapping by Crewe Works.
