Ex-LNWR 4P 4-6-0 Prince of Wales class No 25702 is standing inside the shed under repair with its rods removed on 31st March 1935. Number 25702 was built at Crewe works in February 1919 and remained in service for only a short time after the photograph was taken being withdrawn in May 1936 for scrapping at Crewe works.
