Ex-LNWR 4-6-0 Whale 'Experiment Goods' No 8867 is seen being turned on Rugby's 40 foot turntable on 11th July 1931. Built by Crewe works to order 4887 in October 1909 No 8867 remained in service until it was withdrawn in April 1936 for scrapping by Crewe works.
