On the left are the signals controlling the line from Handsworth Wood to gain access to the original Grand Junction route. Note this signal appears to be of lattice steel construction with a repeater arm at the bottom whilst the signal near the signal box is made from tubular steel. In the distance on the left the line side fencing has had old sleepers inserted as posts.
