Ex-LMS 2-8-0 8F No 48175 has steam lifting from her valves as she passes through the station on a down freight. With the exception of the first three vehicles behind her tender are primarily open steel mineral wagons built by British Railways for carrying coal. Built by Crewe works in August 1943 No 48175 remained in service until it was withdrawn from Mold Junction shed in February 1966.
