Close up of image 'lnwrns318' showing the island platform with, on the left, the Gentlemen's toilet block with Nuneaton's station sign on the right. The station sign reads 'NUNEATON JUNCn, 'Change here for', Ashby and other stations which unfortunately are too difficult to decipher. To the left on the up relief line can be seen a rake of Coventry Gas Company wagons. Peter Lee in his book 'The Trent Valley Railway' states that the cast iron columns used to support the canopy roof was supplied by the Chilvers Coton Foundry Company; 'Engineers, Iron & Brass Founders, Railway & Sewage Iron Work'.
